AiDreams - Terms Of Service (T.O.S.)

We believe in freedom of speech but there are a few areas that need addressed. Hopefully, we can cover some basic do's and dont's while you are a visitor or member at AiDreams.co.uk.

These guidelines are simple and only require a bit of common sense and decent behavior.

Forum Rules

1) English is the primary language of this Forum. Even though we welcome people from around the world, a common language is needed for communication. English is our choice. Please try to use good grammar and spelling when posting. This helps eliminate confusion or lack of understand in the meaning of your posting.

2) Don't misuse this Forum. Do not abuse the Owners, Admins or Moderators. Their judgment on issues is pretty much final.

3) You are responsible for what you post in this Forum. As such, be aware of any negative effects that your messages might have on other people. Your membership here could be in jeopardy.

4) Flaming, Slander, Personal Attacks or Insults of any kind against a user / member of this forum will not be tolerated. We want this site to be a fun place to visit and to belong. Many friendships have been created here from many years ago. Many people have learned, confided and shared their expertise and experiments. We are a diverse, engaging, entertaining, informative place to visit and we are here for everyone with a similar like or interest. We are, by no means prudes, but remember, this is a "Family Friendly” place so abusive or vulgar language is not allowed.

5) Posting - Ask yourself if your post addresses the topic and is constructive or helpful. While art in itself is a subjective topic, no photos depicting blatant nudity, pornography, racism, obscene images or hurtful language will be tolerated. Again, people of all ages use this forum. Don't use ALL CAPS as this is basically shouting at someone and is considered rude and unnecessary.

6) Spamming - No "vested interest" advertising or unsolicited links to advertising is allowed. This is akin to SPAM and any such links will be tagged and removed. The poster will be notified and warned. Posting links to a site in an effort to attract users to an unrelated product (health & beauty aids, medications, etc.) will be terminated. Links that are related to a topic of the post or within the forum that may be considered informative or helpful will, in most cases, be allowed.

7) Be respectful of other individual’s privacy and safeguard your own. Do not post personal information of yourself or others unless they have given you permission. We'd like to respect everyone's privacy while here at AiDreams, so it's up to you as to how much information you are willing to reveal, post or share. You are responsible for your personal and privacy settings within the framework of this site. Please do not give out real names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. of other members without their permission. Likewise, don't badger others for their personal information unless they are willing to share it with you.

8) Piracy - No illegal material, photos, software, etc. This includes linking to software, posting about it, and suggesting how and where to get it. This includes but is not limited to material that violates copyrights, and especially links to sites that distribute illegal material. Copyrighted material or links that are owned by any individual or organization other than the person posting should be given credit by the poster. This is not a swap shop for commercial software, whether business or games. Reverse engineering or decompiling and exchanging of such material on this site is forbidden and will not be tolerated.

9) When posting, make an effort to be clear and concise with your posts. Read them over one final time before hitting the Submit button. Think about posting when you are tired, upset or not clear of mind (fun weekends).  Net speak is fine for texting and such but think how your post is going to be read and understood by others before using that shortened language. CUL8R might seem cute but it can cause confusion. Remember that we are all people (except for Tyler) and we have feelings. Some more easily hurt than others so above all, let’s try to be kind to each other and helpful when we can. It's better for everyone.

10) Welcome new members when they arrive. You were new once and now look where you are!;) Give them some assistance if possible and make them feel welcome! It might be one of those friends you haven't yet met!

11) Avoid Cross Posting or creating Duplicates - Your posting will be read by others as they get time and get to them. Double posting in an attempt to get your message noticed, is frowned upon, here and by practically every other Forum. Don't do it or if you did, remove one of your cloned messages. Keep with the topic at hand and try to be helpful instead of posting something irrelevant just to get your post count higher. There are no prizes for the highest poster.

12) While AiDreams is a free service site, please be mindful of bandwidth wastefulness. Huge photos that could be displayed on a smaller size will still be seen and have the same effect. The same thing is true with videos. Keep them sized nicely, clean and topical.

13) Users not observing these guidelines may have their posts edited or deleted entirely. Their member account could be permanently banned or deleted without notice. These guidelines are subject to be reviewed and possibly modified so check back from time to time to keep current with policy.

14) That's pretty much it. All decisions of the Admin or Mods of AiDreams are final. We'd rather not even have to post these guidelines but we are a world of different people with diverse cultures, beliefs and behaviours. We respect them all and in turn, please respect our world of AiDreams. Welcome, have fun, learn, share and enjoy your stay!
