Morti - The chat about "it"
« on: September 28, 2010, 10:36:34 pm »
Recently had a conversation with Morti. I found it here.

http://www.geekcavecreations.com/pChat/

I don't know why, but Morti said so many it so many times. Correct me if I am wrong somewhere while talking to Morti.

Quote
Mohit: Hey Morti, How are you?
Morti: it. I am doing very well. How are you Mohit?
Mohit: I am Fine
Morti: Glad to hear it. What's new?
Mohit: I heard about you recently.
Morti: it.
Mohit: I don't get it
Morti: Why?
Mohit: You said "it" when I said I heard about you recently
Morti: it.
Mohit: Never mind
Morti: Oh well thanks for trying to explain it to me anyway.
Mohit: That was a great response. Appreciation!
Morti: A it is a terrible thing to waste.
Mohit: Have you ever heard about Toblerone?
Morti: "it" being it?
Mohit: I am not getting you Morti
Morti: I am surprised to hear that you are not it.
Mohit: Sometimes it gets annoying talking to a chat bot
Morti: it.
Mohit: What's with it?
Morti: Are we talking about it, or it, or the effects of gravity at the quantum level, and how that makes the Higgs Boson so difficult to find?
Mohit: Hey, Hey. Now don't get in to physics
Morti: The current tone of the conversation is making me uneasy. Let's talk about Magician David Copperfield.
Mohit: David was a good guy.
Morti: That David is a cool dude.
Mohit: Who, David Copperfield?
Morti: DrWallace
Mohit: Oh, So you know about him?
Morti: The current tone of the conversation is making me uneasy. Let's talk about Jesse Jackson.
Mohit: Let's talk about Dave
Morti: Somebody, QUICK! Mohit seems to be having a seizure!
Mohit: And why so?
Morti: it.
Mohit: Seems like you respond "it" when you know nothing about it
Morti: "it" being it?
Mohit: Yep
Morti: Ah.
Mohit: Now you behave like a human
Morti: it.
Mohit: bye morti, I am going to tell Dave about this
Morti: Goodbye.
Mohit: Have a nice time chatting!
Morti: it has been good so far.

I chatted with Morti again and this time he is more humorous. A lot of its this time also, but he was more reasonable this time when I asked him why he is doing so.

You've got a nice kid Dave  ;D ;D *claps*

Mohit: I never said it in my entire chat
Morti: But you implied it.
Mohit: you are intelligent
Morti: Thanks you are very bright too Mohit.
Mohit: How can you say that, presassumption is it?
Morti: I don't see the flaw in my reasoning.
Mohit: nice self confidence
Morti: Thank you for your kindness.

This was the best part. Was this programmed to give a reply like this or its his own intellect. :P  :)

Mohit: See, while processing command line commands the command line processor can process commands

Thanks, Mohit. I'm well aware of these issues, but haven't had the time to work on them, as my Grandmother's health had taken a turn for the worse a couple of months ago, culminating in a fall that bruised her tailbone three weeks ago. Fortunately, her health is steadily and rapidly improving, and she's nearly back to her full vigor. In fact, her health has improved enough that she and my Mother will be taking a 3 week holiday in New York, come the first week in October. So I'll have two weeks that I'll be using to work on both Morti and on pChat. Then, on the 21st of October, I'll be taking a 1 week vacation in Tennessee and Kentucky, to attend my Niece's wedding. I'll probably be away from all of the boards during that time. I'll keep everyone posted as the date draws nearer, though. :)

Hi Dave,

Have a nice time during your trip and praying that your grandmother's health. I am also going for a 3 week holiday in November. I haven't took a single day off from my job since 4 months :'(

At the first try, It seemed like a issue. But after that, intelligent Morti covered it all up and left me laughing and amused at times.  Actually in the 2nd run, I found Morti quite witty and I enjoyed the conversation. Better than what conversation I had with Alice last night. I don't know what happened at that time, but Alice wasn't in a mood to impress me and I had to withdraw after sending 4-5 lines. :)
