Program O Version 2.0 Finally Released!
« on: February 16, 2012, 05:35:41 PM »
After many months of stalled progress, Liz Perreau has set up a repository for Program O, version 2.0 on GitHub.

https://github.com/Program-O/Program-O

The official support forums for Program O are at http://www.program-o.com/forum/ and anyone who wishes to help Beta test this new version are welcome to join the forums there (if you haven’t already) and participate. I’ll be handling the bulk of support for the time being, but once more members get up to speed, I expect that to change a little. :)

Also, if you want to help improve the project, and become a part of the dev team, PM me through the Program O forums, and we’ll discuss it.

I’m excited to see the project moving forward again, and am looking forward to seeing where we can take it.

I'm sure you know the story; Life intrudes, and it gets harder every day to get back into the swing of things. It's happened to us all, I'm afraid.

BTW, it seems that while Liz has set up the repository for the Program O files, she has yet to populate it, so I've set up a temporary download for the most recent files I've got at [LINK REMOVED] so that those interested can try it out. I'll speak with Liz about the missing files on GitHub. :)

[edit]The problem of missing files has been taken care of, so now the link in the first post is valid. :)[/edit]

Thanks for asking, Freddy. While the calendar seems to flash past, the days seem to trudge on endlessly. :P

Well, the script is still in beta at the moment, as there are still some bugs to work out, but we're making progress. No word on when we'll be going to a "production" version yet though, I'm afraid. There are only a couple of folks actually working on the script, so the going is understandably slow. Anyone with fair to perfect PHP coding skills is welcome to join in and help out, of course. I can be reached using all sorts of ways, a PM here, or the Program O forums being two good examples. And folks can download the latest version at https://github.com/Program-O/Program-O/

I've Eventually been able to ended the Start book ability for Syllabus O ver. 2.0, and make passed it over to Liz for combining. This was the net better obstruction for the impel (though I'm definite that there are plant a twosome of nonaged hurdles to go) that was delaying hand of the attribute.

BTW, for those wh0o were unaware, I .got into an accident on my motorcycle a month ago today, and was laid up in the hospital till yesterday with a "laundry list" of fractures and other injuries that will take a while to heal up from. It's going to take me a long time to be able to get back to Program O, but I'll certainly get there. :)
