For me the top 3 browsers, IE, Chrome and Firefox all have their problems, you don’t really notice many of them until you make sites that have to display in all of them. Then you start to find their limitations.
The end user doesn’t really get to notice that fact, how do they know what the site looks like on another browser unless they actually try another browser. Maybe that dead link might work on another browser? or maybe the site maker took longer over the site to make it display across browsers, none are perfect.
So to all browser makers.
Can we please just stick to one standard that fits all and can that standard take the best bits from all browsers and chuck out the bad.
Looks like IE's days are numbered.
You are trying to wind me up aren’t you Freddy
It’s still firmly in the top 3, it has some very nice options for making sites look smarter, options that Chrome and FF can’t do. IE 10 will be out soon, I will be using it
its going to have improved HTML5 and hardware acceleration, and there is one other little point but quite important, IE is the only browser that has a full 64bit version, something that the people who did that survey forgot to mention, with a 64bit OS why should I be forced to run an old 32bit browsers. Come on FF and Chrome catch up
