Some of you might not know Dave Morton but he is a friend to some of us and he's also the chatbot, Morti's creator.
I haven't heard of or from him for a couple weeks or so and then today, I received this email today from his mom:

This is Dave's mother. Dave was in a high speed motorcycle accident 7/9/12. We are praising the Lord daily for His mercies and miracles. Dave is in trauma Med/surg unit at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Carmichael, CA. He is slowly healing and probably will be able to come home soon. He has factures in all four limbs is going to need lots of therapies and tender loving care. He obtained no head injuries, but has multiple internal injuries, but doing good. You may send him cards to David Morton c/o Nancy Morton, po box 3834, Carson City, NV 89702. He doesn't have access to computer at this time, but soon should be able to use laptop and read emails.

Sorry to hear of the accident. Glad you getting better and maybe heading home soon.
I had accident couple years ago and decided getting too old to fignt crazy unlincensed drivers on open road. Sold the bike, removed temtation, that pain worse than accident. Bought bicycle, not same thing but enjoy riding it on beach.

Dave !! Don't kill yourself !! You've got a LOT more chat bot programming to do !!!!

I'm very sorry to hear about this --- I hope you are getting better each day. I was shocked to learn of this.
