Thanks everyone, although I must admit to being a bit bemused by the whole thing.

Well being bemused with $1500 is cooler than simply being bemused  ;D

Congratulations Squarebear and Mitsuku.  O0

I have to say that I have been one of the sceptics with regard to this competition, however, it is rather pleasing to hear that one of our own has won.

It would be interesting to learn how long it takes for your winnings to arrive and what method of payment is adopted, if that's OK with you Squarebear and I'm not being too personal.
Is the glass half full or half empty, maybe my vessel is to big.

Nobody has contacted me with any details about prize money. I don't mind you asking at all. I would have been curious myself.

I just realised that the robot being used in this is the same one as Tineye :

Seems odd  ???

I am waiting for "please send me your bank account details and PIN number"!
There are lots of things that seem rather odd about this whole thing and now we can add the logo to that list.

Does that fall under the "Creative use" part or under the "Poetic license" or "Taking Liberties" with a previous product? Hmmm..

Perhaps it's one of those, "Copying in the most sincere form of flattery", things.

It does appear (no pun) rather odd. :knuppel2:

@Steve & Mitsuku

Didn't you get any email from us regarding requirement of details or something like that? I certainly don't think that way!!

Regards,

Robo Chat Challenge Team

Yes, I did get an email but had nothing at the time of posting (6th March). I was answering Diesel's question about how long the prize money will take to arrive.

It isn't.

I have yet to receive one single shiny penny from this, despite 4 months of sending several emails and assurances of payment from them.

Just a heads up in case they organize another one of these next year and anyone enters thinking they will get a chance of winning money. I use the term “organize” loosely.
