Title: Simple AIML interpreter

Hi all, I need to write a simple aiml interpreter as part of a university project. Would you kindly suggest the simplest way you may know or else provide some short guidelines... :) tks!

I can't help directly but I do know of a person currently working on a new AIML interpreter.

Her name is Elizabeth Perreau and it might be worth contacting her for some pointers.  I keep meaning to invite her to this forum, but haven't got around to it yet.
