Alita: Battle Angel
« on: April 06, 2019, 01:55:24 pm »
In somewhat of a follow-up to Johnny Waffles, post about Alita, I went to see it with my Granddaughter (her idea).

It was actually quite an amazing movie as it allowed one to take a glimpse down the hallway to a possible future of replaceable parts for the entire body and then some.
The action was non-stop and the special effects were outstanding. The mix of animated and human characters were also extremely well done.

We were sitting in those huge chairs at the iMax stuffing our faces with over-priced popcorn and soft drinks but having a great time in spite of it!

Great movie to just let yourself go and fuel your imagination!  O0

She absolutely did...probably as much as did I, although I'm a sucker for Robotic/humanoid/bionic/android,(etc.) Sci-Fi movies!!

I've always told her that she is in charge of her own life and that she can be anything that she wants to be if she wants it with conviction and determination!

We don't assign tags or labels to ourselves. We're just grandfather and granddaughter together having a good time enjoying each others company! O0 It's all good! See the movie... ;)

I do want to watch this, the CGI for the animated characters looks amazing I thought.
