ANON
« on: May 05, 2018, 12:09:29 pm »
Looks to be a great Sci-Fi Thriller offered by Netflix.
It's not that they have something to hide, just nothing they want you to see...

In a world without anonymity or crime, a detective meets a woman who threatens their security.

Looks like he might be an AGI or transhuman. I was planning on doing a month or two of Netflix soon. A few in mind at netflix. The Cloverfield Paradox. For the younger crowd at heart there's 13 Reasons Why season 2 and Love season 3. And for the crazy & wild folks, Orange is the new black season 6, June 8.

We find that Netflix is about $10/month which is a tremendous value for watching practically any movie in almost any genre that one could want to see. Watch them over and over if one wishes. Netflix also helps one keep track of the movies they've watched and through some obvious A.I. are able to make some occasional recommendations of films that one might like.  We watch a lot of movies for $10 !!! O0

Great service, no pressure, quit any time and save money by watching in the comfort of your own home! Way cheaper than going to a Cinema/Movie Theater.

Just my take...

Another Netflix exclusive that is worth seeing if you haven't already seen it is "Spectral" which is a military science-fiction that builds up to truly staggering climax. There are some other shows like "Stranger Things" which are so far out there they have no equal, and I was really pleased to see how well they reinterpreted "Lost in Space" which was a long time favourite. Parker Posey's portrayal of Dr. Smith was really frightening.

Spydaz! A very accurate appraisal and echoed my thoughts exactly.
(liked the google glasses reference too).

While the characters were nicely developed (some in more ways than others ;)), I was hoping for more.
Yes, like the detective being taken in, behind the curtain of anonymity to possibly join the other side or something as interesting.

While I wasn't totally let down at all, and it was thought-provoking, I was somewhat, disappointed.
