I forgot to mention this but a while back a friend turned me onto the fact that
amazon.com offers books that have been "pre-read" or used for a fraction of
the cost of a new book. They even go as far as rating the book's condition so
you know what you're getting for your money.
Great deal for all those computer / sci-fi / thriller books that you had put off
buying because of the high price.
