I’m not doing years anymore, once a year I’m going to celebrate my mileage.
When all the various distances for the Earths rotation, movement through Solar System, Milky Way, etc are summed we moving at approx 800 km/s, so we each travel approximately 25 billion km per year.
That means I’ve travelled 1.3 trillion (ish) km so far… our nearest neighbour star is Alpha Centauri @ 41.32 trillion km just for reference.

It covers most of one wall. I had to work around that "Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!" thingy but used a tape measure so they're the exact same distance from the ceiling and each other.

Yea I don't feel old about this at all, just grateful I was at the perfect age to enjoy it... (25 ish...) And I enjoy it just as much now when I have my annual re-watch of it... It's still very fresh in my eyes.

The Matrix isn't a movie, it's a religion. I remember the exact moment when Neo opens his real eyes, in the pod. I said "Oh, ils l'ont fait".
And let's not forget The Animatrix (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Animatrix)... especially The Second Renaissance, the scary one.

There were a lot of religious overtones to the movie. Neo=One, Trinity, Agent Smith kills Neo and he is resurrected as The One. I believe there are more but that's what I remember.
That scene in Matrix Reloaded where they are sword fighting on top of a moving semi set the bar for wall-to-wall Highway mayhem for me and is my favorite part of all 3 movies.
I saw a youtube video where they put forth the theory that Agent Smith was actually The One that was pretty interesting.

Agreed, the Matrix trilogy was the most prolific series I've ever seen, complete with all the victories and pitfalls of humanity, the struggle between good and evil, the yin and yang. It was way more than just a movie...there were many hidden lessons contained therein.
