Interesting Memory book
« on: August 04, 2014, 12:08:54 am »
Before I go to Sleep - S.J.Watson

Memories define us. So what if you lost yours every time you went to sleep?
Your name, your identity, your past, even the people you love, all forgotten overnight....

The book is Fiction but actually based on some lives of a coupe of real people.

It is an easy read but delves rather deeply into the twisted everyday hell one must suffer when dealing with amnesia.
How memories are formed and retained and recalled. How if at all can we get them back if lost through say, an accident.

This is somewhat of a mystery / thriller that is difficult to put down once you identify with the main character.

It is well written and extremely plausible. It will make you think just how we think about what we think we know.
