Title: Moon (2009)
Post by: Art on November 29, 2018, 04:25:42 am
Even though this film was posted here in 2009, it has been 9 years and much has changed, especially in the way AI has evolved and in techniques that are used. I personally think it is quite a good mental journey if one suspends their disbelief for a while.

Many of such scientific techniques are quite evident in the movie, Moon (2009). The prospect of human cloning, AI managers and robotic companions, implanted memories and of course large scale government corruption (what's new).

I watched it with my better half and we both really got into the movie, especially the plot and character situation(s). I thought it was very nicely done and employed many subtleties and 'gems'.

If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it. I think any Sci-Fi buff would enjoy it without trying to compare it to any other sci-fi movies. Let it speak for itself.

Yes this came on TV late one night a few years back. At first I thought it was going to be a bit slow, but soon enough it became enthralling.

Nice little twists too and some great acting - I agree that it is one to watch.
