Avengers Age of Ultron
« on: January 23, 2015, 01:34:48 am »
While comics might not be everyone's cup of tea, this movie portends to provide plenty of food for thought, excitement and a lot of your hero characters at one time!! The words "Action packed" seem like an understatement!!

In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

I have been pumped since it's teaser with Ultron's head popping out of Iron Man. Can't wait to see the Vision and possibly Black Panther.

Looks very cool but begs the question, could the Hulk lift Thor's hammer?  :smash:

The Hulk cannot lift Thor's hammer. Proof may be found in Marvel's The Avengers (2012). In the comics however, Black Widow has the ability (or rather, worthiness) to lift Mjolnir.

In Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) Captain America manages to slightly tilt the hammer, this can be seen in the second and following trailers. Also, one more person has the power to wield the hammer of Thor.

Now, on to the bragging rights - I came back from the Pre-Premiere a few hours ago! It was more then incredible. So much things connecting yet they still managed to keep the movie possible to enjoy without having watched the rest of the MCU. A lot of stuff about AI too, gave me enough 'thinks' for the whole summer.

To carry on the bragging, since it was a PRE-premiere, they gave away free posters and beer on the entrance! How much cooler could it get. A drink + popcorn + toy did cost $5, however it payed off - I got 2, since I wanted both Iron Man and Ultron. Luckily there was no Vision figure, otherwise I would have gone bankrupt. Please note I do not like popcorn and there were only 2 drinks available.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

Now I'm gonna have to re-watch it another 30 times (not a random number) before I can better digest and understand it all. So much easter eggs I could not quite understand. And so much insanely cool scenes worth screenshooting a million times.

If anyone can watch it in cinema, please do. The experience is crippled in 2D.

I just saw Avengers Age of Ultron this morning.   Wow!
In a few weeks, I may go see it again in the IMAX 3D film format.

The best IMAX seats were sold out, so I decided to exchange
my IMAX tickets for the standard film format.

Since there are a lot of people who still have not seen it yet,
I'll wait before discussing Avengers Age of Ultron.

May I suggest that you read up the movie articles on Moviepilot? They have gathered up official information from Twitter and other media as to help you fill in some of the gaps...

Also, that thing that comes out near the end (you get me) is explained in the TV Show (Agents of SHIELD), Episode "Scars" I believe. I wish I could watch it before I saw the movie.

Thanks for the advice, Ultron.  Look forward to that.

To All:
I don't want to give anything away about the movie.
But there is one thing in particular about this
movie, which I think may be a huge AiDreams hit!

If you saw the movie and know what it is... I believe you.
No need to post it.  Better to keep the surprise intact
for the others who haven't seen it yet.

There is so much to chat about this movie.
