Astronaut Sam Bell has a quintessentially personal encounter toward the end of his three-year stint on the Moon, where he, working alongside his computer, GERTY, sends back to Earth parcels of a resource that has helped diminish our planet's power problems.

The trailers / clips look pretty good even if it does seem to have some of the earmarks of 2001 A Space Odyssey. It is the type of Sci-Fi movie we AI fans like regardless. Whenever a computer is either given a voice / personality AND control over certain facets of a human's existence, it always peaks our interest...for we know deep down that such things are actually possible...just not totally acceptable...yet.
