Found this preview of a new Philip K Dick film adaption, they're using CGI but it's more comic book like...looks interesting.  Keanu Reaves,Robert Downey Jr, Woody Harrelson and Winona Ryder.  Steven Soderbergh among producers.

The preview has now gone but the link has been changed to an entry on WIKI..

Very cool Freddy,

Looks like the film blends between the animated and the real images from time to time.
Might not be too bad! We'll wait for this one. Then again, with Hollywood, it could be
a gigantic flop.

Thanks!
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

yep, the last time Keanu Reaves did a Philip K Dick film (Johnny Mnemonic) it wasn't to well received.
I think this looks more interesting, reminds me of that PS2 game a while back XIII, which was CGI comic book.

Just to resurect this thread....

It came...it wasnt seen...it went heh

Very very limited cinema screenings in this country......went very quickly to dvd with no advertising. Dissapeared from the top 100 as quick as it enetered. Now actually hard to find over here without ordering it in.

it actually did look very good..soon as I get myself a copy ill post a review.

Cool, I want to make a bigger area for film reviews, like the one I did for Existenz...you get the idea, so if anyone else wants to do some film reviews just email them to the usual addy:

admin@aidreams.co.uk

And remember - Your forum needs you!

For our OK followers, this is currently only 6.00 at the moment in selected Woolworths stores.

Bought my copy already hehe, bargain  ;D

Once watched will do a review when I have a few moments free of my current splitting headache  :(

A lot of filters were used for it., it was live action (except for the really odd scenes).
