The conspiracy behind computer science .... Neural networks....

Actually a very long video but really its worth it.... from Donald Hebb..... to mcculloch and pitts.... What has been the driving force behind Publicly available science and technology? (not the hidden)........

Quite Eye opening documentary!

May you give us a summary in 3 sentences? Is there a secret tech? Evil pioneers? Secret team? Murder?

They terribly forget 1 thing at the begging of their movie...

The brain also holds the future predictions/expectations too. Not just past/external world present...

On conspiracies and neural networks...   the perceptron in the 50's is actually more powerful than an ordinary computer today, in the way that it had a direct conduction connection from the retina to the id's/labels on the other side in parallel.   Maybe some evasive crap speak was spread around the grape vine saying they were slow,  but that was only because the cadmium sulphide sensors were a little laggy…  the rest of the system is a super parallel connection!

I heard about some lullation in the work using perceptrons in the 70's  and it doesn't make sense,  it should have kept growing the way it was, because the 50's perceptrons worked great, and I don't know why the hell they stopped working on them.    Something is amiss here.

Ive actually done work *myself* on the computer making a security camera using the basic perceptron idea (I know that they work fine.) and only adding one thing,  making it operate translationally invariant,  and that would have been possible in the 50's too,  it just has to scroll the retina.    And that's the visual cortex of your robot basicly finished,  only needs motor after that. since robots might as well be security cameras on legs.

It ran a bit slow (because its basicly running a knn emulation) ,  but with the custom hardware its possible could see in megahertz reaction speed.

I think computer vision should probably be similar to the rods and cones principles.....
the outputs stimulated by the rods and cones would serve as inputs to a neural network of some interesting shape.....

This eye simulation thingy ..... is a very interesting organ how do we perceive light and shapes to define objects ..... what are the signals being sent to the brain ?
because i have idea that that the eye itself has its own reactions etc as an independent organ but really it is a lesser agent of the whole with it signals being translated by the brain .... a massive neural network ... as the discovery was off of real experimentation on the human brain ... not so horrific today..... perhaps understanding how the eye works is key to computer vision today ... although overlooked?

maybe
