"Deeply enjoyable." This book is a real gem. Intelligently written, deeply thought provoking, and a joy to read. Anyone with an interest in singularity fiction will find a great deal to like here.

In addition, this book is currently available as free download, so there is no reason not to try it.

I absolutely agree with your review. Great book.

In a similar vein readers might check out some eBooks
by Cory Doctorow like I Robot, When Sysadmins Rulled the World,
Anda's Game, Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom, and one I'm
currently reading, Eastern Standard Tribe.

Others like The World Order by Eustace Mullins and Accelerando by
Charles Stross.

Many more but these should provide some good Sci-Fi type reading
often with a view of how the world or life will be in the future.

The above are all eBooks and some are reasonable short reads.
(Oh yes...ALL are available for FREE!!)

Enjoy!

Thanks but it wasn't my review. I've only just started reading the book. I copied the review from the Lulu page which is one reason why I included the link to it.

On the subject of free science fiction books I can also highly recommend all of Peter Watts books (especially Blindsight, it's mind-blowing). His website is http://rifters.com (odd similarity between this and Simon Funk's eh?).

Also check out this dude http://johnanthonycurran.com who I happen to know personally (I host his website).
I've read both the books that he's published and enjoyed them immensely.
