AOL has a new FREE TV site that you can watch old tv shows online. Here's the site for Max Headroom:

The eps are out of order though. BlipVerts is the pilot (first) show of the series. They only have a handful of shows. But for those that loved this show, at least you can watch it online.

You don't even have to log in or anything. It's free and open to the public. Ad supported, of course. For now, seems like the only ad they show are Intel Viiv ads (only one at that). But not bad, really.

Wow, thats bizarre, I was thinking of Max a few days ago when I was playing with Haptek heads, thinking to myself, Headroom was like this...maybe we could bring him back to life hehe.

Hey, that would be awesome to reconstruct Max Headroom! Thing is, how do you get the computer to studder without overloading the system in the process? LOL!

Great job! Though the background was lines, not checkerboards. But hey, Max is moving into the 21st Century. Time for a change of scenery.

Also... how would one get HAL to "stutter" like Max did?

Insert the text below into a speech program like Text Aloud and use one of the microsoft male voices.
Getting Hal to use such chopped up speech would require the use of script files and having Hal call them as needed through use of a plugin in the brain file, similar to having Hal run an external program.
