Details of the 2010 Prize are now online. This year the competition is on Saturday, 23 October 2010 at the California State University, Los Angeles.

$5,000 in prize money is up for grabs, which is more than in previous years.

Kind of makes me wonder why Sylvia (the chatbot) has never entered the competition.
If it was (unscripted) as the author / creator claimed, it should have no trouble beating
the lesser competitors.

Any what ever happened to Sylvia as the website had links to "her" program dated 2006?
Surely the program has made some great strides during the past 4 years considering that
our friend, Bruce Wilcox (of Suzette fame) wrote her in approximately 1 year (give or take).

Maybe we'll soon see one of those "smart toys" running around chatting wildly at a store near you!
