Almost human? Google's developing robots
5 December 2013, 12:00 am

Google revealed it is working on developing humanoid robots that will automate daily tasks, on the heels of Amazon announcing a new drone-delivery program. The moves indicate that automated delivery services, and perhaps much more, could be on the horizon. Christian Science MonitorLink.

Why not? Google is into practically every facet of our lives on this planet. What's one more "thing" to help make our lives easier?!

(I'm also convinced that if it turns out to have any possible merit at all, the military will surely grab it first!!)
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

I'm still not sure if that Amazon Prime Air thing is for real.

But yes, if anyone is going to do it, why not Google, it's almost to be expected these days ;)

Freddy, look through YouTube and search "Quadcopters" then you will become a believer in the technology. Afterwards, you'll ask yourself why not? That's a great idea! Provided the GPS and government allow them to get that close.

I'm not 100% sure but the government used to only allow a closeness of 9 meters (30' or so) of accuracy of a GPS device. The government has the ability to practically place an object on a piece of paper because their allowable tolerance is likely within half to one meter or better.

Hopefully, they will allow for greater proximity otherwise your new laptop delivery might just be at the bottom of your pool (but at least it got the house address correct!). ^-^ ;D

Oh yes, I believe in the technology, I'm just not convinced it isn't a hoax.
