How does this sad news relate to Artificial Intelligence?
Well, this was the same CNN reporter who interviewed
Bruce and Sue Wilcox about ChatScript and Mitsuku.

Actually, it doesn't relate to A.I. except through those 6 degrees of separation that most assume to be true.
Most people who either knew him or watched his warm and charming personality on his various TV show travels strongly admired him for his culinary knowledge, experience, and charm, his presence will no doubt, be missed. Rest in Peace Mr. Bourdain.

Read it again...Separation not Freedom. Perhaps you're thinking Robotics. It's more of an idea or theory but it does seem to have some validity.
Six degrees of separation is the idea that all living things and everything else in the world are Six or fewer steps away from each other so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of Six steps.
