Apart from bringing up Asimov's laws, this is actually a decent article about realistic dangers. Long story short: Automated weapons + hackers = trouble.
The same also works in reverse: You could stop a military robot swarm by simply scrambling its communication frequencies or mess with their aim. I see this ending up in a global stalemate with useless hunks of metal lying around disabled on the battlefield.
