Amazon Launches Two Alexa Digital Assistant-Based Gadgets

                    Amazon introduced Thursday two gadgets similar to its voice-controlled Echo speaker, which can be used to check the weather, order Domino's pizza or hail an Uber car. The Amazon Tap, a portable speaker that streams music, sells for $129.99.

I can do all of that with just my smartphone and I don't have to be in a Wi-Fi environment, unless streaming music is a necessity (which it isn't).
While I'm sure the Dot or Tap will appeal to those who need to keep up with what's current, my smart phone is smart enough...and it's certainly portable. Just my take.
