That's really insane for the AI and Go Community as there are more moves you can do in the game of Go than atoms in the entire universe. In other words, Alpha Go needs some sort of human intuition. What's funny about this recent victory is that China didn't recognize it (they censored the match).

Selim,

Nice article. I found it humorous that the state of China didn't want it's people to see (or realize) that a computer could beat their best player. That's kind of like sticking one's head in the sand so as to avoid seeing the outcome.

Soon it will be, "My computer program can beat your computer program!" (if not already). ;)
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

Ahah yes exactly! I've also found it really funny (there is too much national pride in China). You're right, as humans can't compete with these ANI anymore, it will probably be computer vs computer. That's exciting  8)
