Harvard is given $28m to build AI that works as fast as the human brain
25 January 2016, 12:00 am

US scientists have been granted $28 million to design computer systems that can interpret patterns as quickly as the human brain. As intelligence agencies become increasingly flooded with data that must be analysed quickly, humans struggle to keep pace, and computers are limited in their learning abilities.

It somehow seems to me that M.I.T. would have been better suited than Harvard, which is primarily a business / Law oriented University.
Either way, maybe an A.I. that's a better lawyer! ;)
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!
