ARTI is just that...a software program that can interact to verbal or typewritten inquiries and it does so on a broad range of subjects.

While I don't particularly care for the "talking face" in the center, I think the program has some redeeming qualities, especially for
those who might be visually impaired or perhaps for the gadgeteer in some of us experimenters.

While the price seems rather high, it does claim to practically do anything with regard to a voice activated computer.

Check out the vid and ingnore the animated face that is somewhat distracting to the overall ability of the program.

Very interesting topic. I do not know if this is similar, I have a voice recognition system, I use it sometimes to see the capabilities. But of course it does not have AI I think that intuition is also in the research. But having a perfect use power, you have to work the articultation directly with the microphone, and perfectly initiated the brain voice recognition, are the voice and articulation. This principle is also incorporated into HAL6 Zabaware.

I'm sure it wasn't scripted for there are several programs of a similar nature like the
Talking Desktop, Cyber Buddy (ie), Guile3D's Denise (one of the most beautiful, interactive,
virtual woman you're likely to meet) and there are other programs that allow for home
control / automation instead of just chatting or being an assistant like Homeseer, Hal and
others.

Don't forget Leslie Spring's, Silvia and ejTalk's, Cassandra along with other conversationalists.

The thing is that we ARE progressing the field and capability of AI individually and collectively
at the same time. It is the direction in which we are headed and soon, AI will be as much a part
of our lives as the TV and Cell Phone are now. It's coming!

Art, intelligent integration, is an engine part, the mechanical technology. Particularly in the automobile, more and more manufacturer, have recourse to intelligent integration. There are in the military, many materials that have intelligent utility for using a perilous missions, and especially for avoided loss of life, in some cases. But I favor intelligence utility for medicine. And I admire, medicine, and men who thanks to their education, can invent smart tools to save lives, and to heal. The new intelligent methods, will become more intuitive. And now it joins the syntheses, on the intuitive intelligence. The assistant A.I. are actually exceeded.
