Read this article and you might think twice about Covid-19. You might also want to see this move, not the best but the concept is very intriguing. I always believed that an Extraterrestrial intelligence would get to earth using a microscopic ship that can build just about anything once it lands and when it does it infects everything to monitor it! Also, the concept of a time crystal could be done with beams of light or plasma where such an approach could effectively be a kind of space probe that once landing it can interact with particles on the surface of its target planet where the modulation is done using entanglement to build infectious microbes. Yes, science fiction, but the whole concept of a spaceship changes when you become the master of atoms...
