That would be Cortana, the new AI that should be installed in Windows 8.1 smart phones and possibly some tablets. Oh yeah...she can make small talk, tell jokes and even sing!!

Yes she looks quite handy and has some real uses, I don't think it will be long before most mobile devices have something like this on them.

Ai is improving, as we know, but it's going to take a large company like MS or Google to get it to a place where it has some real world uses and not just a chat buddy, not that there is anything wrong with chat bots, everything has it's time and place.

I really like the way you could say:

"Remind me when I'm in London to visit Buckingham palace"

She knows where you are from GPS and will remind you when you are near that location.
