8pla.net Loebner Prize transcript

Yikes! Mixing up the dates this year,... Very nearly missing the deadline.
And that is where the fun started.  Rushing to get done! Luckily, it uploaded
last minute, after almost no testing of some new ideas.  Except for extreme luck,
my expectations for scoring high this year were minimal.  So, I felt no disappointment.

However, chatbot performance in a live chatbot contest may be the best feedback.
Considering it's current experimental nature,  it's live chatbot contest performance
was fair, I suppose.  Yet, I suspect it may have crashed, at the end, on question 19.

Overall, the Loebner Prize Contest 2014 was entertaining, enjoyable and well-run.

You did well on some questions...like the cat one for example and Bogata.

The questions look tricky to me.

Is yours an AIML bot ? I just wondered as it used the name 'seeker' in one reply and I know that from AIML.

Keep at it :)

Let me be careful before I answer, by saying that the unsatisfactory performance this year relates to experimental patches I made in C# to my chatbot engine (not due to its use of AIML).
