Nice find Data an interesting read.  There was one line - "raising the specter of automated robots that could replace human workers" - which seemed a bit weird, have they never seen video of a factory these days ?  For example cars...or a whole load of things made by machine.

Also I don't want machines to drive my car for me, I like driving cars.

Yes good point, there are some things that no matter how good the Ai is, it's still going to be more fun doing it yourself. driving being the perfect example.

I guess for those who can't drive, for what ever reason, there is a niche in the market.

Oh yes, you are certainly right about that, very useful to those who cannot drive for whatever reason.  Mine as usual was a knee jerk reaction to change
