The Paris Game AI Conference is the most passionate event about artificial intelligence in game development, and the largest independent gathering on the topic. In 2009, it brought together around two hundred people from all over the world, including programmers, designers, students and enthusiasts. In 2010, by popular demand, the conference is returning for its third year on June 23rd and 24th.

Cool, but I haven't been excited about game a.i. since F.E.A.R. (We've all ready talked about that.)

I think the next big breakthrough in game a.i. will be unscripted dialog, which I'm looking forward too very much.
