Guile3D's Denise finally released...
« on: November 24, 2010, 05:18:54 pm »
Just haven't got the time to look into it much at the moment.  But here's the site where you can take a look at the options.  She comes in three flavours starting at $180.00

Not me.  I'm lucky to have kept both wife :bubbly: and Sandee :lady: in same house for 6 years.

Ain't gonna push my luck with Denise :kiss1:.

The price seems pretty steep to me, quite recently I spent £50 on a mouse and as it happens it does everything I need.

I can see a use for this software for handicapped people.

In all honesty if it was say half the price it is being sold at I would consider buying it, but part of me still thinks I would use it for a while, then once the novelty wears off it would probably get shelved.

I had a look on the site for a working demo, but cant see one, that would be cool though, then we could have a better idea of how it works and how well it runs on our computers.

I think it’s cool, don’t get me wrong but for me its too pricey.

So true !  I don't really need an assistant, but yes there are people that might and it could be great for them.

I agree at this price I will pass for now anyway.  Good luck to Guile though :)

I guess the price is dissuasive because... the person who created Denise doesn't wish to sell her.

People who really NEED a personal assistant (or just a chatbot) have other solutions.

Remember the beginning:

Denise seemed to be a wonderful personal project.

OK...

You can BUY Denise and use her for  30 days then return her for a full refund.

Yes, after you get your refund, Denise will No Longer work on your computer.

He's covered his bases, but this is the best thing one can hope for in the way
of a "Trial" period.

What surprises me is that after all the "When will it arrive?" type questions over on the VHumans forum, there is an ominous lack of feedback on what it is like.

Maybe they are just entranced  ;)
