Autonomous vehicles: Embedded vision system assists self-navigated automobiles

                    Fully autonomous vehicles employ radar, ultrasound, vision-based systems, and 3D laser scanners to determine the direction, speed of a vehicle and the conditions of the environment surrounding them. To demonstrate how single cameras can be deployed as part of these systems, AdasWorks (Budapest, Hungary; www.adasworks.com) - the computer vision research arm of Kishonti Informatics (Budapest, Hungary; https://kishonti.net) - has developed a system that relies solely on capturing visual data from a single front-facing camera.
