Time to teach her
« on: January 24, 2014, 01:42:48 am »
If some recall, I posted an article quite a while back about an AI named Cassandra that could, with great detail, discuss a variety of subjects with complete interaction on a human machine level. "Her" abilities seemed quite extraordinary and now, you can delve into what makes her "tick".

Check it out ...

So how do we talk to this thing? The only experience I have had with this bot is an obviously scripted demo on Youtube where she appears to discuss Hamlet. There appears to be no way to talk to it on that website, unless I've missed something obvious.

That's what I thought until I read that they were instead offerring a discussion / lecture on what makes her tick. I imagine one would need to follow through the examples and various discussion videos to gain a greater understanding of how their XML, Markov, Pattern searching, semi-scripted software is supposed to work.
Are they offerring a free version of the software or is there one? Not sure.
I'm interested in learning more about Cassandra / ejTalk's "engine" or method if they have one available.
Some of the site seems a bit dated but the copywrite at the bottom seems current. Hmmm....
