UltraHal wins 2007 Loebner Prize
« on: October 23, 2007, 01:58:09 pm »
For anyone who didn't already know...the popular chat bot 'UltraHal' by Robert Medeksza won this years Loebner Prize.

There were only three entrants this year so it wasn't exactly definitive, in fact it was a bit of a disappointing turnout,  but a lot of people will be happy that UltraHal has received some recognition at long last.

Final positions were:

1st - Robert Medeksza
2nd - Noah Duncan
3rd - Rollo Carpenter (previous two years winner)

There was no entry for ALICE this year due to mysterious technical difficulties.

Well done to Robert !
