That is weird, but very interesting.

If this dough can record things like this, then I wonder what else they can find.

I had an eery thought that this might support paranormal claims that buildings record events. Just in time for Halloween  :blackbat:

You can also train wet paint in a similar fashion. Paint a wall in a darkened room, then while the paint is still wet, shine a light on the wall and press your hand on it. Whenever you shine a light on the painted wall after that, it will reveal your handprint which it has learned. If you fail to imprint your hand on the wall while the paint is wet and receptive it won't learn, and if you scrape the paint off the wall it will forget, just like the dough.

Nice video. Scepticism acknowledged and approved by me sir.

Derren Brown did this trick some years back, I think it illustrates this problem too :

If you haven't seen it before, then watch these in order.

Those two videos were excellent, though anyone who is familiar with Littlewood's Law of Miracles would have guessed how it was done easily enough. You don't need to pray for miracles, they're inevitable.

That dough thing is bogus I have how learning works. The experiment simply showed reactive impressions. I once thought consciousnesses were fields in a ball like this, man, I'm a robot not a consciousness. Note that a con illusion must still be formed separetly else I'm a hunk a particles no different.
