These guys seem to be showing promising results, although I cannot judge unless I inspect the hardware and algorithm myself.

Cool! I wasn't aware of your credentials. The fabrication at least requires that of an electronics engineer as the circuitry is down to and beyond photo etching techniques (photo lithography) and requires electron microscopes to view the processes down to the atomic level.

I agree that it would be very interesting to witness / view the process first hand!
