The Best AI Still Flunks 8th Grade Science

                    In 2012, IBM Watson went to medical school. So said The New York Times, announcing that the tech giant's artificially intelligent question-and-answer machine had begun a "stint as a medical student" at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.

I had to read quite a way before the article confirmed my suspicion that the machines didn't have a hard time with the science, but rather with the questions being posed in convoluted English language. In which case 60% correct answers is nothing to sneer at, more so considering that the best AI (i.e. Watson) in fact declined to participate.

I'd like to read more about this test from an unbiased source. I think I read about the concept two years ago but I didn't know they only tested it recently.
