2 years ago, a young man named Chad Barraford created his home brewed version of a Jarvis Program to allow control of his apartment.
I'm not sure whether he or his program is still active but a lot of his videos are still on YouTube, and he had quite a lot of them.

You might gain some insight into his methods and might be able to contact him. Worth a shot. I think he used an apple mini.

Freddy, thank you. They say that with age comes wisdom but I lay no claim to that premise. I do however, get around a lot!! ;)
Usually in the techno circles, AI, Home Automation, Home/Control, Robotics, Animation / graphics, science oriented endeavors.
I am also an avid guitarist (acoustic, although I have a couple of electrics). So add music to the list and woodworking, reading /
writing, cooking as well.

OK...I'm old!! but I still feel young!  ::)

A lot of my development would probably be of interest to you Stark.Inc. I'm still new here, but have a basic overview of what I have achieved on my intro thread, A Little Hackintosh Based Home Presence at the URL http://aidreams.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5049.0#.URhmQWF5mSM.
