hi i'm working on a (jarvis) like program with applescript i don't know if many users here are using this form of code but i had a hunch so i need help
i'm trying to make a script that wake me in the morning with music time date and greatings

wake up at time set
1 itunes playlist playing for 20 second
2 mac speech telling me greeting than  the time and date
3 than current weather
 4 than wishing me good day.

i don't know if someone could help me with this so thanks anyways.

hey i'm am also making conversation with the mac

i use the say and listen for  but there there is something that does'nt work here is a eg


tell application "SpeechRecognitionServer"
   listen for {"yes", "no"} with prompt "Do you want to play a game?"
end tell

can anyone help or giving me tips for making beter conversations.

Not to discourage you but I'd venture to say that there probably only a handful (if that) of mac / apple users on board here.
This is likely due to popularity, expense and necessity, since the PC dominates the market in those areas.

I'm not slamming Apple as I've used one and it's a great machine...just not the one being used in most markets today.

Again, try Chad Barraford as he's already accomplished most of what you're describing and more and he used a Mac Mini.
BTW his program was called, "Jarvis". - go figure....
