Title: Chatbot Tyler trial.

Hi,

I have added Tyler as our resident bot.  You can chat to her from the menu pane at the bottom of the forum.  Or if you wanna see how far I got with a Haptek version see here :

Obviously you will need Haptek Player to be installed to do that.

Both are linked to the same ALICE bot, hosted on pandorabots.  I really have to say a belated thanks to our friend KnyteTrypper for his posts here that really helped me get it going.  Thanks heavenly friend :)  She still needs training so mainly I just want to see if it works for anyone other than myself so far.

The Haptek model of Tyler isn't the one I will use, I just haven't had time to design her yet   ::)

Tyler now knows some trivia thanks to KT's trivia AIML file.

Say 'Trivia' to her...or something like 'tell me some trivia'...

I'm beginning to see why ALICE is so popular from the inside now :)

Thanks to some mighty fine snippets over on AI Nexus and a bit of tinkering, Tyler has a few more tricks up her sleeve.


Heres some of the things she can do so far and the kind of thing you can type in:

"Define Cat", "What is a Castle?" - She should pop up pages from dictionary.com

"Show me a castle", "Show me a picture of a cat" - she shows images from Google.

"Tell me about Mars', "WIKI mars" or "WIKI something" - she will send you to a WIKI entry.

"Movies some film name" - you will get a search on the IMDB film database.

I'd just like to thank Duskrider for the new animated Tyler.  ;D

By the way if anyone of you designers want to create a version of Tyler for the Haptek interface then go ahead.  The one I was using was only a stand in until I got something permanent.  If you can do a torso that would be great, then maybe Dusk can do another animation for the static interface.

What we need is for a few ideas on what Tyler should look like.
