Closing the AI WIKI
« on: August 24, 2009, 11:13:07 am »
Hi all,

I'm planning to close down the AI Wiki and convert what little content there is in it, into articles on the forum.  The Wiki just hasn't taken off really and part of me thinks we're reinventing the wheel here when the world wiki already covers a lot of this stuff.  The other reason is it has been spammed to death and I don't have time to keep monitoring it.  There seems to be a spammer in Germany that is causing the most problems.  I disabled the registration, but they still get in.  So yeah, I've lost patience with it.

If there's any opposition to this then please feel free to let me know here.  It would have to be a good reason to keep it.

Cheers  :)

No opposition here. Intended to contribute but real life keeping me busy so perhaps its for the best at this oment in time.

Articles sound a good idea :)

The WIKI has now been closed.  I have made articles out of the content we did have and these can now be found in the articles section no less.

I also kept the proposed coverage and now submit this as a guide to possible future articles - thanks to Dante for that list (also within the articles section).
