Move Update
« on: December 19, 2008, 01:01:35 pm »
Things have gone almost to plan.  We still have to upload the attachments folder, so no attachements are available at the moment, this will take some time as it is over 200MB in size.

I am also having to fix a bug in the gallery which causes images not to display - you get an error page.

Also I need to sort out links to all the other pages like the WIKI, Chatterbot Collection etc.

I will be working on this henceforth.

Ok I think the gallery should be ok now - just need to add the links in.

The attachements (which also holds avatars) looks like it is uploaded, just waiting to confirm with Mav if that is the case.

Thank god for that!

Might I ask you brighten the text a little? It's a tad hard to read.

Love the new theme,  I'll play around with AI dreams logo and make it web 2.0 ish to match, if you want?

Yes thank God indeed, there were a few worrying moments like when the usually good support team unpacked all the attachement files into the wrong folder and killed the forum.  That took two hours to fix properly.

You're not the only one who finds it a bit dark - it's not a good theme for CRT monitors I have learnt.  I will take the text up a notch in a while (got some chores to do).  I will be adding more themes, hopefully today, so there should be something for everyone, like I said elsewhere it takes a while because they often need further customisation.

Feel free to work on a logo, I just did a quick job on it.  Here's the theme makers original idea for reference.  I didn't find enough time to work on the reflection.  WOuld like to see anything you can come up with.  I kind of like the Times(?) font it uses.

I upped the brightness of the text in the dark theme (FS Gray), hope that looks better.

Fixed a bug with Firefox/Chrome where you would get logged out using the 'Other Areas' links.

Just about finished with a new lighter theme I have been modifying.  I only got this one done today, it was quite lengthy as I customised it a fair bit with new colours and the odd graphic.

One thing I forgot to do was set up the email system, so for the past couple of days we would have got no emails from anyone.  This has been fixed now, so you can now use the usual addresses.

Also corrected the outward-bound address which was causing private message notifications to get rejected.  Now folks should get a notification when someone PM's you and hopefully topic notifications is working too.
