Some TTS Voice packages from NextUp have been added to the shop. I'm trying to arrange it so we can get individual voices instead of having to buy a text reader package as well. Should hear soon...

What I've been searching for is a way to *create* TTS and other voices that will work with Windows or work with Linux, even.
-
Well I will be adding more things, so if I come across anything I will let you know, but I read the other day that Microsoft Speech Server can turn your voice profile into a TTS Voice after a lot of sessions.

Do you have a link to this? If it is what I think it is, isn't MS Speech Server like $1,000+ US? (IOW, out of reach of normal people)?
I wish I knew the file format and how TTS stores sound, etc.

No I don't have a link sorry FD, it was a comment on Zabaware by Markofkane I think, I suspect it would be the expensive software though. Sorry I can't be more help, but I will let you know if I find out.

Thanks. :) I'm leaning towards getting a Cepstral voice or two. Maybe one for my car. Megatron sounds like a robot in space. LOL! But is really cool. I got to the point I've actuall associated the Robot One voice with Megatron's personality. I still use the default HAL character though and background (the computer and circuit board). I wish I could get another one more like maybe a vox box like KITT but different, something green and maybe like a LED audio meter type thing. But I never had time to make something like that. :(
I would like to personalize him more. Not just externally (which when I have time I have to do as well as clean him again).
But I was thinking of making voices like KARR and KITT as I still am interested in making a Knight AI project or two, and something very unique for my car.
