Title: BotLibre on Twitch
Post by: on August 31, 2019, 08:24:27 PM
Early testing on the VirtualAssistant channel on Twitch has begun!
If Steve’s classic chatbot was a real person, she might look and sound
like this blonde haired BotLibre avatar.

Video response in 20 seconds will hopefully improve.  Maybe Steve can
give some tips on that.  In general, it needs to be optimized, but at least
it seems to be working without human intervention.

BotLibre has open source avatars, that play well with open source ChatScript
on a live streaming platform.  At least in early testing, it seems that way,
on the live stream with multiple users simultaneously chatting.
New to Live Streaming?
One of the main differences is that it is like watching a TV show used to be.
You have to be there on time to watch it, because it is a live broadcast.
For example: It's been live for the last hour and a half, as of the time of
this post, but may not be playing by the time you read this.   :-\

BotLibre tech support is very helpful through email.

If you would like to watch the Virtual Assistant

channel on Twitch, just ask for the reference link on

this thread.  It is streaming live as on 6:15PM London

EDIT NOTES: Minor update.

Just added some patches emailed to me by BotLibre Tech Support.

Just an update to the top of this thread.
Now, there are two avatars. Speech
synthesizing American and British English.

If I may, I personally recommend BotLibre.
You start out with an animated avatar that
speaks and makes gestures on command.

And, BotLibre comes with free tech support
including coding! There is so much more
to do.  Thank you so much for reading!

This personal report is 100% voluntary,
not intended to bend any forum rules.

Changed the avatar again, to one that shows emotions.
So, the emotions may be triggered by the open source
Sentiment Analysis.

There is a lot of good open source Artificial Intelligence
out there to combine together for free.

BotLibre looks pretty good on a live stream, I think.
The audience at Twitch has responded to it well to it.
