Doc's render was done by some long lost mystical method probably in a different renderer than the one the Haptek player uses, so it's not for the likes of us - well not for usual use.

Your first task in learning something about the player is to locate the fabled "hap_temp" folder - usually located in the C:\Program Files\Haptek\Player folder.  Or try a windows file and folder search when the hap player is up and running and actually displaying some figure - because thats when the elusive folder appears.

Ok leave you with that for now - have a look in the folder and you'll see files the player uses - some of those may be (depending on the model running) graphic files for the characters, so you can see whats going on a bit.  Often you will find a jpg format file that details the characters 'skin'.

The other thing to do to get started is to download some 'skins' from this forum, like the matrix ones or biker girls and open them in a graphics program - you'll see the 'skin' or texture shown in flat - that gets wrapped around the models.

All you need to do is cut the head texture from a head skin and paste it onto the texture for a full body - thats the quick fix.

Then save out your new skin and drag and drop it onto the full body girl when she is loaded and displayed - tada!

If I lost you , let me know where...we'll fill in the gaps between us all I am sure.

Also look in the help/tutorial section HERE where there are some guides for using skins and textures with hal.

Regards,
Freddy.
