Miniskirt.htr
« on: April 06, 2006, 11:39:56 pm »
All,
I downloaded the miniskirt.htr from here awhile ago and just tried it with a fullbod, the legs appear through the skirt.  I really like the miniskirt and feel it has possibilities, anyone with experience with the miniskirt?
I'm thinking of coloring the legs at this time.

Thats from some time ago and was only a kind of work in progress, I think further worked needed haptek tools which no-one had - it needs to be adapted to use collision detection, but without the proper tools at the moment it's just an experiment.

Collision detection, heard it mentioned better feeling for what it dose.  Anyways thanks for putting it in the files, the girl needs an easter dress to go to curch on Easter. Also I like something that dosen't cling to her, it'll be a nice change.

No problem, the skirt and other objects like it need the same kind of treatment that is used on models like the hair.   Usually that kind of thing is refered to as an objects 'physics' - giving the item the kind of qualities that real-life things have, like weight, density, gravity and then calculating the desired movement.  The collision detection part is to control the skirt, for example, so that it can detect and avoid moving it into an area that is already taken by the figure.
