this is very interesting, im not sure if they are back and forth nets or just forth nets.   (And Jeff Clune gets a mention here.)

I recently read an article about this, it is very interesting. I liked that they showed a few examples of the problems it can cause too.

It's also a good example of how hard to understand neural networks can be.
