The future of AI on the net.

Interesting article discusses the fact that soon, humans will be outnumbered on the net by machines
and other non-living things.

In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

Interesting article! I'm not surprised. I just got my debit card from my bank and they now have a computer chip and antenna embedded in the card. Amazing. So I'm going around with a card that has a computer and transmission capabilities. Then again, I already have that with my cell phone. I can check weather, news, email, etc. right from my cell phone, anytime, anywhere.

I was really amazed at wireless technology when I didn't have phone service after I first moved in and was still able to get onto the internet using my cell phone as a modem.

As for the 'net takeover of computers, etc. Think it's not just the 'net but other areas in life. These machines are everywhere and connected via the Internet, satillite, etc. I belive there are more machines in our lives than there are people even right now! Think about it... for every one person, there could be 1/2 to 1 or more cars, atms, computerized answer/menu systems (people that call T-Mobile customer service, for example, are greeted by an AI operator with voice/speech recognition).

It's also interesting to think that we humans didn't have machines only recently in our history. And already the machines have grown. They didn't reproduce themselves either, obviously.

We created them.

I loved the video home automation demo. Reminded me of Star Trek. :)
